OLD CLOTHES NEW COMBO

I know you all have thought you have nothing to wear while looking at a closet full of clothes. Thats exactly what I did this morning. Since I have a super small spending budget, I can't afford to just go out and buy new clothes as often as I'd like to. So instead I watch for the sales and deals at my fav local shops. This time I came across an awesome deal for spaghetti straps at Bella b downtown and got some much needed new undershirts. Now that might not sound like a super cool find, but these bad boys are VERY versatile!! Here's what I wore, and how I did my hair too! The only new thing is the pale pink tank.

PS: Those hair pictures were tough to take with my iPhone 3 haha! I need to upgrade.

BEAUTY CHALLENGE: RED LIPS

Hey Peeps, 

I've decided to start challenging myself in the makeup and hair departments so as to get myself motivated to try new things. The current challenge: red (or dark) lipstick. I don't usually wear lipstick, but lately I've been thinking maybe it's time. Gotta grow up at some point. This might take a few days to get the courage to do. Here's my lip-spiration:

*Bold lines are ones that really struck me as transparent. They show just how vulnerable the writer is, and how he cannot escape his own thoughts about his life, career choice, and family. He seems to be struggling with fame and keeping his personal life private. Maybe he doesn't want to let his fans know something, but he is having a tough time hiding his feelings. -It's free to subscribe.
-You get an email a couple times a month with topics ranging from food, travel, fashion, beauty, and more.
-Gwyneth actually does these things, such as travels, cooks, and such. She also asks her friends for tips/advice in what they specialize in.
-She collaborates with a different company each month to create something that combines both what that company offers and her own style.
-ABOUT-explains goop first hand.
-It offers advice that is practical, down to earth, and reasonable (which is weird coming from a celebrity, I'll be honest, but very refreshing).

Check it out, I love it. I have been inspired a ton by her newsletters. I really like all the different topics, it never gets old. You might as well browse the site, and since subscriptions are free you don't have anything to lose.
